The app seems to take a long time to load, and the picture quality isnt very good even on good wifi network. Lately its been not loading saying the nationally televised hockey game is blacked out in my area...this game is in Minnesota and Im watching from Oklahoma. They better get something better for the olympics or this this will be a disaster

Every time you get an incoming text or phone call, this app makes you watch another 30 second commercial before you can get back into the game. Missed the big moment of more than one game because if this fundamental flaw. Routinely tells me a game is blacked out in my area before letting me watch it. The app also hounds you to rate it. Well here you go...

Needs attention

Because NBC is a sellout and owned by the worst cable company known to mankind, this app only works if you are beholden to big cable. What fools we are paying for what we once received over the air for free.

Comon watching islanders game 6 and its pausing and fuzzy over and over.

Streaming quality is great on iPhone platform.

this wont let me watch what I want to but let me watch what I dont care about

Simply does not work. Freezes constantly. If you are lucky enough to make it through the 5 commercials to watch an event replay, than you get to wait another 15 minutes watching literally nothing happen until the event starts. Why dont they just start at the beginning of the event and not 15 minutes prior? I have no idea. And good luck trying to scrub to the spot where the action starts. That will just freeze the app.

This crashes repeatedly and every time i try to reopen the game I was watching before the crash, it forces me to watch the same 15 second add. It doesnt allow more than 15 seconds of viewing sometimes. Hopefully it gets better and I can review with higher stars. Its a pretty good looking app with high quality video streaming.

Glad to have opportunity to watch on the go. Sometimes slow n buggy, though.

How can you black out the "local" viewing area (Chicago) when the hockey game is taking place in St Louis?

So many other major video/streaming apps have Chromecast Support. I can cast video to my tv with the WatchESPN app, but with Live Extra Im stuck having to watch on a smaller screen.

I hate all the stupid ads but particularly the 20 to 30 second start up ads. How desperate to watch NBC do the suits & ties @ NBC think I am. No thanks. (Except when Im really, really, really desperate.)

Cant watch local games due to blackout, whats the point?!?!

This app is riddled with problems. 1) I cannot sign in to my tv provider now. Id blame this on Directv, but I use that login for hbogo, Sunday ticket, watchespn, fox sports go and march madness live apps without fail. Without this function, I literally cannot stream live events. 2) The ads work perfectly every single time, before at least 30 seconds of buffering when I have strong wifi. 3) ads will cut in to live coverage. Im sure that this is triggered by the match being at commercial, but the buffering leaves my stream a few minutes behind. 4) see number 1. Its that critical.

Its always behind on the live games. Very irritating. And way too many ads

App plays three ads and them kicks back to home screen. Does not work for my iPad. Cant find any help online but see this is an issue with many as well. Please fix!

I think the apps worked just fine for my purposes, and even if the ads are repetitive, they havent been too annoying.
